SUMMARY:IHM - Italian Culinary Class
DESCRIPTION:Celebrate Italian Heritage Month by diving into the rich flavors and tradit
ions of Italy with our exclusive Italian culinary class! Join us for an imm
ersive experience where you'll learn to create an authentic Italian dish fr
om scratch, guided by Chef Tom Mirabito. Whether you're a seasoned cook or
a curious beginner, this class will equip you with new skills and secrets t
o bring the essence of Italy to your kitchen.\nWhile working at Cafe Milan
Chef Mirabito had an opportunity to present a dish on a local TV station's
morning show.\nThe Chef chose a recipe that his Uncle Anthony had sent to h
im: Chicken Scarpariello, Shoemaker's Chicken. \nI had tested the dish as a
daily special and received feedback that it was flavorful but too much oli
ve oil. So, I modified my uncle's recipe to include a bit of demiglace and
cut back on the olive oil. It became a top seller, one of the best items on
the menu. I was advised by my marketing consultant that the name Scarparie
llo wouldn't present well on the TV show. It was suggested that I change th
e name to Gangster Chicken. The name stuck. Since I had changed the name an
d the formula my Uncle Anthony never received any royalties!\nMenuGnocchi -
